Ellen Hermans
Belgian sculptor Ellen Hermans creates one-of-a-kind sculptures that celebrate the timeless dialogue between light, stone and organic form. Working primarily with translucent Italian alabaster, she hand-carves each piece into flowing, minimalist compositions that invite both contemplation and touch. Her sculptures embody balance, movement and quiet elegance, transforming natural stone into contemporary works of art that engage the senses.
From an early age, Hermans developed a fascination with sculpture, archaeology and the expressive qualities of natural stone. Inspired by the purity of classical forms and the imperfect beauty found in nature, she has developed a distinctive artistic language characterised by soft curves, sculptural openings and harmonious proportions. The natural translucency of alabaster allows light to become an integral part of each sculpture, subtly changing its appearance throughout the day.
Every sculpture is carved entirely by hand from carefully selected alabaster sourced from the renowned quarries of Volterra, Italy. Working without industrial production methods, Hermans embraces the slow, meticulous process of sculpting, allowing each work to evolve organically while respecting the unique character of the material. No two sculptures are ever alike; every piece is a unique original, signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
In 2025, Hermans presented her work at the prestigious Art & Luxury Fair Monaco, held at the Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo, where her sculptures were introduced to an international audience of collectors, interior designers and art advisors. This exhibition marked an important milestone in her growing international presence within the world of collectible contemporary sculpture.
Today, Hermans works between the Netherlands and the South of France, where she continues to explore the emotional relationship between material, light and form. Her sculptures are created for collectors who value exceptional craftsmanship, timeless elegance and the enduring beauty of natural stone.

Hubert Le Gall
Born in 1961, Hubert Le Gall is a celebrated French designer, sculptor, and exhibition scenographer whose work merges fine art with functional design, blurring the boundaries between sculpture and decorative arts through noble materials such as bronze, wood, and glass.
Since 1996, he has been represented by Galerie Avant-Scène in Paris, alongside leading international galleries including Galerie Dumonteil, Galerie Pierre-Alain Challier, Galerie Mazel, and Twenty First Gallery. His creations are held in prestigious museum collections, including the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, La Piscine Museum, the Musée Mandet, and Château Borély, as well as commissions for the Mobilier National and French embassies abroad. In recognition of his contribution to contemporary French design, Le Gall was appointed Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2009 and named Designer of the Year by Maison & Objet in 2012.
Since 2002, he has designed more than one hundred exhibitions for Europe's leading museums, including Fabergé: Jeweller to the Tsars at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Edward Burne-Jones: The Earthly Paradise at the Musée d'Orsay, and Melancholy: Genius and Madness in Western Art at the Grand Palais. In 2015, he collaborated with Hermès as Artistic Director of the travelling exhibition Wanderland, and created Glass Calendar for Ruinart. In 2021, Villa Kérylos dedicated a major solo exhibition to his work, A Greek Fantasy, inspired by Greek mythology.
Today, Hubert Le Gall occupies a singular position in contemporary design, producing collectible works celebrated for their sculptural presence, poetic imagination, and timeless elegance.

Laurentine PĂ©rilhou
Laurentine PĂ©rilhou is a textile artist whose works reflect the resilience of the plant world, drawing inspiration from nature and the living world around us. Each knot becomes the symbol of a silent construction, conveying the plant's capacity to adapt to its environment and the landscapes it shapes, creating a dialogue between fragility and strength that reveals a sublime nature where imagination and poetry meet.
Specializing in macramé, she reinterprets this ancestral technique to create a sculptural and contemporary language. Introduced to the art during a trip to South America in 2009, she continues to explore the expressive potential of the knot, going beyond its traditional use to make it a medium for experimentation and sensitive storytelling. Her approach is rooted in the repetition of gesture, where meticulous knotting becomes a true form of writing, and time becomes an integral part of each piece, lending it a contemplative, organic quality.
Her work has been supported by the Banque Populaire Foundation and the Hermès Corporate Foundation, and in 2024 was exhibited in Milan at the Rossana Orlandi Gallery during Milan Design Week, and in Venice as part of the Homo Faber Biennale, supported by the Michelangelo Foundation.
Périlhou has exhibited widely at institutions including the Grand Palais (Révélations, 2022–2025), the Orangerie du Sénat, Galerie Handwerk in Munich, and Centre d'Art Gallifet in Aix-en-Provence, as well as internationally through Les Remarquables de Martell editions in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur. In recognition of her craft, she was named Winner of the Fondation Banque Populaire in the Crafts category in 2021, and Winner of the Académie des Savoir-Faire (Textiles) by the Fondation d'Entreprise Hermès in 2020. She was named Designer of the Year by Paris Capitale de la Création in 2013, and received the Young Crafts Creation Prize from Ateliers d'Art de France in 2011. She recently had a duo show at La Manufacture Royale de Lectoure and representation by Loisir Gallery, Los Angeles.

Maeve
MAEVE is a contemporary studio of collectible sculptural furniture and objects for interiors, founded in Porto, Portugal 2021. Working with artisans and jewellers across Portugal, the studio creates made to order pieces from refined forms, noble materials, and exceptional attention to detail.Â
Every piece is handcrafted using centuries-old techniques reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. A result that balances tradition with innovation, where clean, sculptural silhouettes meet the richness of handcrafted artistry.Each object carries the studio's mark with hand-punched, small, and usually unseen marks. A true sign of belonging rather than a signature. Sustainability, heritage, and responsibility form the foundation of MAEVE's philosophy. The studio is committed to creating pieces designed to be passed down through generations, encouraging longevity over disposability.Â
By embracing responsibly sourced materials, sustainable production methods, and fair partnerships with local craftspeople, MAEVE produces objects that are as meaningful as they are beautiful. The studio creates lasting heirlooms that preserve cultural heritage while bringing timeless character and craftsmanship into contemporary spaces.
The founder Ana Medeiros (b. 1983) trained in interior design before turning to research, holding an FCT scholarship in artistic studies and completing a PhD at the University of Lisbon, where she spent years studying the body in motion.Â
Before MAEVE, she designed ephemeral spaces and learned to read a room as choreography, how people move through it, where they pause, what they touch. That way of looking, formed before any object existed, brought MAEVE into being. Not from a vision, but from an absence, the objects those rooms called for, and that she couldn't find.Â
Art
Solène Kerlo
Trained in fashion design at Esmod Paris and in lost-wax casting at École Boulle, Solène Kerlo is a French visual artist whose practice unfolds at the intersection of painting, sculpture, and performance. Nourished by archaeology, anthropology, and ancient cosmologies, her work explores the origins of myths and the memory of civilizations through artworks conceived as contemporary relics, made of brass, beeswax, crystallized salt, or earth pigments.
Her research takes shape in territories charged with history and spirituality, from the Atacama Desert in Chile to her collaborations in lost-wax casting with Burkinabé master founder Alassane Dermé. She has notably been in residence at Poush, DOC, and currently at Iota, as well as at La Wayaka and Casaplan in Chile, with the support of the Institut français du Chili.
From 2022 to 2025, her project SALAR formed a major cycle of research and creation centered on the cosmogony of the Atacama Desert, leading to the solo exhibition SALAR, a Cosmogony of Water at Galerie Porte B in Paris and the presentation of the work ARKAE as part of Nuit Blanche 2025. Her work has also been shown at Galerie Loft, Galerie Larock-Granoff, and Poush, and has been featured in L'Officiel Galeries & Musées, Revue Portfolio, Zone Critique, and Point Contemporain. As mentor of Le Cercle, she also took part in the Anticipation Festival in June 2026.
